Meet Pierre — A Mayor who leads with integrity and listens with humility

You deserve a mayor you can trust. Someone who listens, learns, and leads with integrity. A leader who puts residents first, manages public funds responsibly, and works with you to shape, step by step, the Chelsea we want. Someone who favours practical solutions over rhetoric. A steady hand that remains constant through uncertainty, keeping our community at the forefront and preparing it for today’s challenges and tomorrow’s realities. Grounded in facts, transparency, and a genuine commitment to our community.

True leadership today means being agile: putting citizens at the centre, making thoughtful decisions, learning along the way, and improving continuously. It also means being open by default, not just when it is easy and building trust through transparency, even when it’s uncomfortable.

It may seem like a new way of governing, but after leading through the pandemic, facing natural disasters, and hearing residents call for greater access and accountability, I’m convinced that the next four years demand this kind of approach. One that allows Chelsea to move forward while staying true to who we are.

Being there for families is at the heart of my commitment. As a parent and former owner of a day-camp company, I understand their needs and realities. That’s why I’m focused on making local services more accessible, including bringing day-camp costs back in line with the regional average. Providing nearby, well-managed, and safe services is essential to supporting Chelsea’s families. And I’m proud to still be here to keep that work going.

Born and raised in the Outaouais, I’ve lived in Chelsea since 2007. Passionate about the outdoors, I enjoy cross-country skiing, cycling, and trail running. My community involvement began at Grand-Boisé School and continued on council, first as a councillor, then as deputy mayor, and now as mayor. I’ve also been actively involved in local sports clubs to help strengthen our community spirit and support active living for all.

I also continue to contribute at the regional level, particularly in transportation, education, and youth development, serving on several local, regional, and provincial bodies.

I have a deep affection for our community. Its trails, public spaces, cafés, small businesses and artisans, and above all, its people. That’s the spirit of Chelsea, and the reason I serve.
